I received a private email from a woman in California. She thanked me for my two books and said it made her feel even closer to her grandparents from Croatia who died in the 70s. She is anxiously waiting for the last of the Destiny series, because she feels I am a historian of the peasant immigrant. WOW! Others have made similar comments. I think of myself as just a story teller. What can I say? Now I have a burden to deliver…can I do it?
